Experience the breathtaking Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve. This moderate Himalayan trek (ages 10–60) is best visited from mid-July to mid-August, when over 300 species of alpine wildflowers— including the Blue Himalayan Poppy and Brahma Kamal— bloom across the valley.
Discovered in 1931 by mountaineer Frank Smythe, the valley is one of India’s most scenic monsoon treks, perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers.
The journey also includes a trek to Hemkund Sahib, a sacred high-altitude glacial lake at 14,200 ft.

Day 1: Arrival at Dehradun – Transfer to Rishikesh
Overnight Stay: Rishikesh Distance: 33 km | Drive Time: Approx. 1–1.5 Hours Altitude: Rishikesh – 372 m (1,220 ft)
Arrive at Dehradun Airport and proceed on a scenic drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of the World. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, if time permits, visit the iconic Ram Jhoola and enjoy a leisurely walk along the banks of the sacred River Ganga. In the evening, soak in the peaceful atmosphere of Rishikesh and witness the beautiful Ganga Aarti (subject to timing). Overnight stay in Rishikesh. -
Day 2: Rishikesh – Joshimath – Auli
Overnight Stay: Auli Distance: 275 km | Drive Time: Approx. 9–10 Hours Altitude: Auli – 2,800 m (9,186 ft)
Start early for a scenic drive through the Garhwal Himalayas, following the beautiful Ganga and Alaknanda river valleys. En route, enjoy photo stops at the sacred Panch Prayags—Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag—where rivers meet amidst stunning mountain landscapes. Continue the journey through charming hill towns and winding roads before reaching Auli by evening. Check in to your hotel and relax amidst the serene Himalayan surroundings. Day 3: Auli – Trek to Gurson Meadows – Auli
Overnight Stay: Auli Trek Distance: 6 km | Duration: Approx. 3–4 Hours
After breakfast, embark on a scenic hike through dense pine and oak forests to the beautiful Gurson Meadows. The trail offers stunning views of Nanda Devi and other snow-capped Himalayan peaks, making it one of the most rewarding walks in the region.
This hike also serves as an ideal acclimatization activity before the higher-altitude days ahead, helping your body gradually adjust while enjoying the breathtaking mountain scenery. Return to Auli by afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure amidst the serene Himalayan surroundings. Overnight stay in Auli. -
Day 4: Auli – Govindghat – Pulna – Trek to Ghangaria
Overnight Stay: Ghangaria Drive: 50 km | Trek: 11 km | Duration: Approx. 6–7 Hours Altitude: Ghangaria – 3,050 m (10,006 ft)
After an early breakfast, drive to Govindghat and continue by local jeep to Pulna, the starting point of the trek. Begin your scenic hike to Ghangaria, following the beautiful Pushpawati River through lush forests, waterfalls, and mountain landscapes. Enjoy the fresh Himalayan air and stunning views along the trail as you gradually ascend towards Ghangaria, the base camp for both Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation and relax. Overnight stay in Ghangaria. -
Day 5: Trek to Valley of Flowers – Return to Ghangaria

After breakfast, begin your trek to the spectacular Valley of Flowers National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vibrant alpine blooms, pristine streams, and stunning Himalayan backdrop. Spend time exploring the valley's breathtaking landscapes and seasonal wildflowers before returning to Ghangaria by evening. Overnight stay in Ghangaria. -
Day 6: Trek to Hemkund Sahib – Return to Ghangaria
Overnight Stay: Ghangaria Trek Distance: 12 km | Duration: Approx. 9–10 Hours Altitude: Hemkund Sahib – 4,329 m (14,200 ft)
After an early breakfast, begin the steep yet rewarding trek to Hemkund Sahib, one of the highest and most revered Sikh pilgrimage sites in the world. Nestled beside a pristine glacial lake and surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks, the shrine offers a truly serene and spiritual experience. Spend some time soaking in the breathtaking scenery before descending back to Ghangaria by evening. Overnight stay in Ghangaria. -
Day 7: Ghangaria – Trek to Govindghat – Drive to Badrinath and then to Auli
Overnight Stay: Auli Trek: 11 km | Drive: 80 km Altitude: Auli – 2,800 m (9,186 ft)
After breakfast, descend from Ghangaria to Pulna and continue by road towards Auli. En route, visit Badrinath, one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India, known for its ancient temple and stunning Himalayan setting. After spending some time in Badrinath, continue your journey to Auli and check in to your hotel upon arrival.
Please note: The visit to Badrinath is subject to prevailing weather and road conditions. The final decision to proceed will rest solely with the Tour Leader, keeping in mind the safety and well-being of the group.

Day 8: Auli – Drive to Rishikesh
Overnight Stay: Rishikesh Distance: 240 km | Drive Time: Approx. 8–9 Hours Altitude: Rishikesh – 372 m (1,220 ft)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive back to Rishikesh, retracing the beautiful Himalayan roads along river valleys and mountain landscapes. Enjoy the changing scenery as you descend from the high mountains to the foothills. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Rishikesh. -
Day 9: Rishikesh – Dehradun Airport Drop
Distance: 33 km | Drive Time: Approx. 1–1.5 Hours
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Dehradun Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of the Valley of Flowers, Hemkund Sahib, Auli, and the majestic Himalayas.
