Day 1 | Arrival in Colombo – Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage – Dambulla
Distance: Approx. 180 kmDrive Time: Approx. 4.5 Hours Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, meet your local representative and begin your journey towards Dambulla, located in the heart of Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you'll get an opportunity to see rescued elephants up close and learn about their conservation. Day 2 | Sigiriya Rock Fortress – Minneriya National Park Safari
After breakfast, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Sri Lanka's most famous historical landmark. Climb to the summit via the Lion's Gate, admire the ancient frescoes and Mirror Wall, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
