The journey covers Egypt’s most iconic ancient wonders as well as some of its lesser-seen sides. You’ll visit the Pyramids of Giza and Great Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum, Civilization Museum and Royal Mummies Hall, Alexandria’s Catacombs and Pompey’s Pillar, Philae Temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The result is a well-rounded introduction to Egypt — from its pharaohs and royal tombs to its temples, museums, cities and Nile landscapes.

The 3-night Nile Cruise is one of the highlights of the journey. Sailing from Aswan towards Luxor, you’ll experience Egypt’s ancient monuments from the river while visiting spectacular temples including Philae, Kom Ombo and Edfu. The cruise also gives you a change of pace from road-based sightseeing, allowing you to wake up to changing Nile landscapes and enjoy the journey itself rather than treating it simply as a way to get from one city to another.

Several experiences that can otherwise become additional costs are already included in our package. These include entering the Great Pyramid, visiting Abu Simbel and entering Tutankhamun’s Tomb. This means you can experience some of Egypt’s most significant attractions without having to constantly decide which major experiences to add later. There are also optional experiences such as the Nubian Village, Hot Air Balloon Ride in Luxor, Semi-submarine experience and Dolphin Show in Hurghada, which you can choose according to your interests.

The tour involves regular sightseeing and some walking at archaeological sites, including uneven surfaces around temples, tombs and monuments. Comfortable footwear and reasonable mobility are recommended, but there are no hikes or treks involved. Travel between destinations is a combination of private air-conditioned vehicles, the Cairo–Aswan domestic flight and the Nile Cruise. The itinerary also includes two nights in Hurghada, giving you time to slow down and relax after the more sightseeing-intensive portions of the journey.

The tour includes 2 nights in Cairo, 1 night in Aswan, 3 nights aboard a 5-star deluxe Nile Cruise, 1 night in Luxor and 2 nights in Hurghada, with meals as specified in the itinerary. All meals in Egypt are included, with Indian meals available at select locations. The Hurghada stay provides a very different experience from the ancient sites — with time at the resort, beaches, water activities and relaxation by the Red Sea.
