2. Why should I join this tour?
Experience Binsar at its best during autumn when the post-monsoon skies are crystal clear, forests glow in shades of green and gold, and the Himalayan peaks are visible throughout the day. Enjoy breathtaking views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, Panchachuli, Nanda Kot and Chaukhamba (weather permitting). 3. Is this a trekking tour?
Not at all. The walks are easy to moderate and designed for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. Our longest hike is around 9 km, with a shorter 6 km option available. If you'd prefer to skip a hike, you're welcome to relax at the resort and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
4. How is the accommodation?
Think of it as mountain luxury rather than five-star luxury. Comfortable rooms, stunning Himalayan views, delicious home-style meals, warm hosts and the peaceful atmosphere of the forest make this a stay you'll remember long after the trip ends.
5. What does a typical day look like?
Mornings begin with fresh mountain air and, on one day, an optional sunrise walk to Zero Point. We begin from Delhi and travel by the comfortable Shatabdi Express to Kathgodam before driving to Binsar. This route is reliable, comfortable and allows everyone to arrive together while enjoying one of North India's most scenic rail journeys.
