Adi Kailash, often called Chhota Kailash, is a sacred Himalayan peak located in Uttarakhand, India. While distinct from Mount Kailash in Tibet, it holds immense spiritual significance and is revered as an earthly manifestation of Lord Shiva's abode.

This is primarily a road-based pilgrimage and expedition with limited walking involved. However, the high altitude, long travel days and remote terrain require participants to be in reasonably good health and physical condition.

The journey reaches altitudes of over 15,000 ft (4,570 m) in the Adi Kailash region. Om Parvat and surrounding viewpoints are located in a high-altitude environment where oxygen levels are lower than at sea level.

Most travellers complete the journey comfortably, but altitude affects everyone differently. Our itinerary is designed to allow gradual acclimatization, and participants are advised to stay hydrated, eat light and avoid overexertion.

Yes. Since the region lies close to India's international border, Inner Line Permits and other necessary permissions are required. Our team assists participants with the permit process and related formalities.

Weather in the higher Himalayas can change rapidly. Daytime temperatures are generally pleasant, while mornings, evenings and higher-altitude locations can be quite cold. Warm clothing and rain protection are essential.

Carry warm layered clothing, a windproof and waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medications, gloves, woollen socks, a cap and a reusable water bottle. A detailed packing list is shared before departure.
