The journey is primarily road-based and does not involve strenuous trekking. However, participants should be prepared for long travel days, high-altitude conditions, and basic mountain terrain.

The Adi Kailash region lies at high altitude, with certain sections of the journey crossing elevations of over 15,000 ft (4,570 m). Proper acclimatization is therefore important.

Yes, many senior citizens successfully undertake the Adi Kailash Yatra every year. Participants should be in reasonably good health and consult their doctor before joining, especially if they have pre-existing medical conditions.

Yes. Since the region is close to the Indo-Tibetan border, Inner Line Permits and other required permissions are mandatory. Our team assists participants with all permit-related formalities.

Weather in the Himalayas can change quickly. Days are generally pleasant, while mornings, evenings and higher-altitude locations can be cold. Warm layered clothing and rain protection are highly recommended.

Carry warm clothing, a waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medications, woollen socks, gloves, a cap and a reusable water bottle. A detailed packing checklist is provided before departure.
