Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Dambulla.
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to Dambulla in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The drive introduces you to the island’s lush greenery and rural landscapes. Depending on arrival time, an optional visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage can be arranged. On reaching Dambulla, check in to your hotel and relax. The evening is at leisure to unwind after your journey. Overnight stay in Dambulla. -
Day 02 – Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Dambulla Cave Temple
After breakfast, proceed to explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rising dramatically from the plains. Discover ancient frescoes, landscaped gardens, the Mirror Wall, and the Lion’s Paw gateway before reaching the summit for panoramic views. Later, visit the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple complex, known for its impressive collection of Buddha statues and intricate murals carved into rock caves. Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening. Day 03 – Dambulla to Kandy
Following breakfast, depart for Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Enroute, visit a spice plantation to learn about the island’s historic spice trade. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred Buddhist sites in the world. Later, explore the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, home to rare orchids and tropical flora. In the evening, an optional traditional cultural dance performance can be experienced. Day 04 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, proceed on a scenic drive through tea plantations and misty hills to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute, visit a tea factory to witness the processing of authentic Ceylon tea and enjoy a tasting session. Stop at Ramboda Falls before continuing your journey. Known as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya is famous for its colonial architecture, cool climate, and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival, explore Gregory Lake and the charming town centre. Day 05 – Nuwara Eliya Exploration
