Day 1 – Arrival at NJP / IXB & Drive to Gangtok | Himalayan Foothills
Arrive at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (413 ft / 126 m) or Bagdogra Airport (413 ft / 126 m), where you are met by a local representative. Begin the scenic drive to Gangtok (130 km | ~4–5 hrs), ascending through forested hills and river valleys. On arrival at Gangtok (5,412 ft / 1,650 m), check in to the hotel. Evening at leisure to relax and acclimatise. Overnight stay in Gangtok. -
Day 2 – Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir Excursion | High-Altitude Experience
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake (43 km | ~2 hrs one way), located at 12,400 ft (3,780 m). Surrounded by snow-clad mountains, the lake changes colours with the seasons. Continue further to New Baba Mandir (18 km | ~1 hr from Tsomgo), situated at 13,100 ft (3,994 m), a revered shrine dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh. Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok. Optional: Nathula Pass (14,137 ft / 4,310 m), Indo-China Border (subject to permit, weather, and availability; Indian nationals only). -
Day 3 – Gangtok Local Sightseeing | Culture & Viewpoints
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of Gangtok sightseeing. Visit Tashi View Point and Ganesh Tok for panoramic Himalayan views, followed by Enchey Monastery and the Flower Exhibition Centre. Continue to the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom and the Research Institute of Tibetology (subject to opening days). Visit Do-Drul Chorten and the scenic Banjhakri Falls. Return to the hotel by evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok. -
Day 4 – Gangtok to Pelling | Valley Transitions
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pelling (116 km | ~5–6 hrs), passing through scenic mountain roads and forested landscapes. Pelling is located at 5,500 ft (1,675 m) and offers some of the best views of Mount Kanchenjunga. On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Pelling. Optional detours (subject to time & cost): Buddha Park at Ravangla or Namchi Char Dham. -
Day 5 – Pelling Sightseeing | Monasteries & Skywalk
After breakfast, explore Pelling’s key attractions including Pemayangtse Monastery, one of Sikkim’s oldest and most important monasteries. Visit the Chenrezig Statue and the glass-bottom Skywalk offering dramatic views of the valley below. Later, visit the impressive Singshore Suspension Bridge, one of the highest in the region. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Pelling. -
Day 6 – Yuksom Excursion | Sacred Lakes & Waterfalls
After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Yuksom. En route, visit Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfall, and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake, believed to fulfil wishes and known for its pristine waters. Continue to Kanchenjunga Waterfall before reaching Yuksom, the first capital of Sikkim and the coronation site of the first Chogyal. After sightseeing, return to Pelling by evening. Overnight stay in Pelling. -
Day 7 – Pelling to NJP / IXB | Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport (75 km | ~3–4 hrs) for your onward journey, concluding a scenic and spiritually enriching Sikkim experience.
