Visit the historic Stokes Orchard and the nearby colonial-era church, absorbing Thanedar’s quiet charm. The evening is free to relax amid cedar forests and mountain air. Dinner and overnight stay in Thanedar. -
Day 2 – Thanedar Sightseeing & Forest Hikes | Temples, Trails & Lakes
Begin the day with a short drive and hike near Hatu Mata Temple (10 km | ~30 mins drive + hike), enjoying panoramic Himalayan views. Continue with a gentle forest walk along sections of the old silk route, followed by visits to Tani Jubbar Lake and Nag Devta Temple, both nestled in serene natural settings. Return to Thanedar by evening for a relaxed overnight stay. -
Day 3 – Thanedar to Sangla via Sarahan | Himalayan Temple Route
Depart Thanedar for Sangla (170 km | 6–7 hrs). En route, stop at Bhimakali Temple, a striking example of traditional Himalayan architecture.
