Day 1 – Srinagar Arrival & Houseboat Stay | Dal Lake Experience
Arrive in Srinagar at 5,200 ft (1,585 m) and transfer to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. After check-in, spend the evening enjoying tranquil lake views, quiet water channels, and the surrounding Zabarwan hills. This gentle start offers a perfect introduction to Kashmir’s slower pace of life. Dinner is served onboard, followed by an overnight stay on the houseboat. -
Day 2 – Floating Market & Srinagar Local Sightseeing | Culture & Gardens
Begin early with a shikara ride to Srinagar’s iconic floating vegetable market, offering a glimpse into everyday lake life. After disembarking from the houseboat, continue sightseeing to Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Shankaracharya Temple. Time is also allotted for local markets and cultural exploration. Day 3 – Dachigam Hike & Srinagar Heritage Walk | Nature & Old City
Travel to Dachigam National Park (22 km | ~1 hr) for a guided nature hike through forest trails and mountain scenery. Later, return to Srinagar for a heritage walk through the old city, exploring historic lanes, mosques, and traditional neighbourhoods. This day blends nature with cultural depth. Day 4 – Gulmarg Day Excursion from Srinagar | Gondola & Meadows
Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (50 km | ~2 hrs), reaching 8,690 ft (2,650 m). Enjoy the famous Gondola ride and spend time amidst Gulmarg’s alpine meadows or snow-covered slopes, depending on the season. After enjoying panoramic mountain views, return to Srinagar by evening. Day 5 – Srinagar to Pahalgam via Martand Temple | Valley Transition
