Tour Plan

  • Day 01 – Arrival in Leh
Upon arrival at Kushok Bakula Airport in Leh (3,500 m), you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and complete rest to allow proper acclimatization to the high altitude. The day is intentionally kept light to help your body adjust to Ladakh’s thin air. In the evening, visit the peaceful Shanti Stupa offering panoramic views of Leh town followed by exploration of the historic Leh Palace overlooking the valley. Enjoy a relaxed walk through Leh Market before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 02 – Leh Local Sightseeing | Sham Valley Excursion
After breakfast, begin your Sham Valley excursion visiting the Hall of Fame museum maintained by the Indian Army, showcasing Ladakh’s military history and culture. Continue to Spituk Monastery and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, associated with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Experience the fascinating Magnetic Hill phenomenon before witnessing the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers where contrasting river colors meet dramatically. Enjoy scenic Himalayan landscapes throughout the drive before returning to Leh for an overnight stay.
  • Day 03 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass
Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. The journey offers breathtaking mountain views and dramatic terrain changes. Upon arrival, visit Diskit Monastery featuring the massive Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Later continue to Hunder, famous for its cold desert sand dunes and rare double-humped Bactrian camels. Guests may enjoy an optional camel safari amidst the dunes before checking into camp or hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
  • Day 04 – Nubra Valley Excursion to Turtuk Village
After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Turtuk, a culturally unique village near the Indo-Pakistan border and one of Ladakh’s most fascinating offbeat destinations. Once part of Baltistan, the village offers a distinct culture, architecture, and lifestyle different from central Ladakh. Walk through traditional settlements, interact with locals, and enjoy scenic views of orchards and mountains. Visit Thang, the last accessible village near the border (subject to permissions). Return to Nubra Valley by evening for overnight stay.
  • Day 05 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route
After breakfast, drive toward Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route, passing remote Himalayan villages and rugged landscapes. This lesser-traveled road offers dramatic mountain scenery throughout the journey. Arrive at Pangong Lake (4,225 m), renowned for its ever-changing shades of blue stretching across India and Tibet. Spend time soaking in the serene surroundings and photographing the stunning lake views. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at camps near Pangong Lake under a star-filled sky.
  • Day 06 – Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass
Wake early to witness a magical sunrise over Pangong Lake before breakfast. Later begin the return journey to Leh crossing Chang La Pass (5,486 m), one of Ladakh’s highest mountain passes. En route enjoy spectacular Himalayan views and photo stops. Upon arrival in Leh, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring local cafés or markets. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
  • Day 07 – Departure from Leh
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes, monasteries, high passes, and unique Himalayan culture.
