Tour Plan

Day 01: Amritsar to Dharamshala (Drive – approx. 5 hrs)
- Arrival at Amritsar Airport
- Scenic drive to Dharamshala
- Hotel check-in
- Afternoon free to explore McLeod Ganj and Dalai Lama Temple (on your own)
- Overnight stay at hotel
Day 02: McLeod Ganj – Satobari – Kareri Village (1,850 m) | 5 hrs trek
- Short drive (15 min) to Satobari – trek starting point
- Downhill walk to Ghera Village via Barnet Village
- Cross a stream at Ghera and climb steeply uphill
- Reach Kareri, a traditional Gaddi tribal village
- Overnight camping near Kareri Village
Day 03: Kareri Village – Bahl Village (2,000 m) | 13 km | 5–6 hrs
- Gradual walk with minor ascents and descents
- Reach Rawa Village on the banks of the Rawa River
- Pass several remote tribal settlements
- Steep forest ascent to Bahl Village
- Camp near a mountain stream
- Excellent bird-watching opportunities
Day 04: Bahl Village – Triund (2,875 m) | 10 km | 5 hrs
- Steep ascent through oak, rhododendron, and cedar forests
- Leave all villages behind and enter high alpine terrain
- Reach Triund, a scenic meadow on a ridge
- Panoramic views of the Dhauladhar Range and Kangra Valley
- Overnight camping at Triund
Day 05: Triund – Khabrotu – Kunal Pathari – Laka Glacier (3,200 m) | 4 hrs
- Traverse glacial moraine terrain
- Reach Khabrotu with close views of Dhauladhar peaks
- Side hike to Kunal Pathari temple on a ridge
- Continue trek to Laka Glacier
- Camp near the glacier
Day 06: Laka Glacier – Inderhara Pass (4,300 m) – Laka Glacier
- Very early start (around 5:00 AM)
- Steep ascent on snow and ice (approx. 6 hrs)
- Rope support may be used depending on snow conditions
- Reach Inderhara Pass – breathtaking high-altitude views
- Descend back to Laka Glacier (approx. 4 hrs)
- Overnight camping
Day 07: Laka Glacier – Triund – McLeod Ganj
- Descend to Triund
- Take a different trail toward Bhagsu Waterfall
- Trek ends near Bhagsu Village road-head
- Short drive to hotel in McLeod Ganj
- Hotel check-in and rest
Day 08: Dharamshala to Amritsar (Drive – approx. 5 hrs)
- Breakfast at hotel
- Drive to Amritsar Airport
- Departure for onward journey
