Day 01 – Arrival in Cairo
Arrival at Cairo International Airport where you will be welcomed by the tour team and transferred to the hotel. After arrival formalities, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before beginning your introduction to Egypt’s rich heritage with a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. The highlight of the visit is the Royal Mummies Hall, where some of Egypt’s most powerful ancient rulers are preserved and displayed with great historical context. Later proceed for hotel check-in. In the evening enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before retiring for the night. Overnight stay in Cairo. -
Day 02 – Cairo – Alexandria Excursion – Cairo
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day excursion to Alexandria, Egypt’s historic Mediterranean city founded by Alexander the Great. The drive from Cairo takes approximately two and a half hours along the scenic northern desert highway. Upon arrival visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the largest Roman burial sites in Egypt. Continue to Pompey’s Pillar, an impressive Roman monument that still stands as a symbol of Alexandria’s classical past. If time permits, enjoy an exterior view of the Citadel of Qaitbay located on the Mediterranean coast. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to Cairo. In the evening enjoy the spectacular Pyramids Sound and Light Show, where the history of ancient Egypt is narrated against the illuminated backdrop of the Giza pyramids. Overnight stay in Cairo. -
Day 03 – Cairo – Aswan
After breakfast begin the day with a visit to the legendary Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx, the most recognizable monuments of ancient Egypt and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The guided tour allows time to explore the pyramid complex and understand the fascinating stories behind their construction. Continue with visits to a traditional papyrus workshop and a perfume factory to learn about Egypt’s ancient craft traditions. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the newest and most impressive museum in Egypt. Built at a cost exceeding one billion dollars, the museum houses an extraordinary collection of ancient artifacts presented through state-of-the-art exhibitions. Later transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival in Aswan, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to the hotel. Overnight stay in Aswan. -
Day 04 – Aswan – Nile Cruise Embarkation
After breakfast the morning is reserved for optional excursions. Travelers may choose to visit Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most extraordinary temple complexes located near Lake Nasser. The site is famous for its massive statues of Ramses II and the remarkable relocation project undertaken to save the temple from the rising waters of the Nile after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Another optional experience is a visit to a traditional Nubian Village where colorful homes, local culture, and river life offer a unique glimpse into Nubian heritage. Later proceed to board the Nile Cruise ship and check into your cabin. The evening is free to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Nile. Overnight stay onboard the Nile Cruise in Aswan. -
Day 05 – Nile Cruise – Aswan to Kom Ombo and Edfu
After breakfast onboard, begin sightseeing in Aswan with visits to the Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, the Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk located in ancient granite quarries. Later the cruise begins its journey north along the Nile. In the afternoon arrive at Kom Ombo to visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. After exploring the temple, return to the cruise ship and continue sailing towards Edfu. Overnight stay onboard the Nile Cruise. -
Day 06 – Nile Cruise – Edfu to Luxor
After breakfast visit the Temple of Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples of ancient Egypt dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. The temple is reached by a short drive from the cruise dock and offers remarkable relief carvings and architectural detail. After the visit return to the cruise ship and continue sailing towards Luxor while enjoying the scenery of traditional Nile villages and farmland along the riverbanks. Overnight stay onboard the Nile Cruise. -
Day 07 – Luxor – Valley of the Kings
Early morning optional hot air balloon experience over Luxor offers spectacular aerial views of the Nile and surrounding temples. After breakfast disembark from the cruise and begin exploring Luxor’s west bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings where many pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried in elaborately decorated tombs. Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most striking architectural monuments, followed by a stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served at an Indian restaurant before checking into the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Luxor. -
Day 08 – Luxor – Hurghada
After breakfast visit two of Egypt’s most impressive temple complexes, the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, both showcasing extraordinary columns, statues, and hieroglyphic carvings. After completing the sightseeing drive to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast (approximately four hours). On arrival check into the beach resort where lunch and dinner are served at the hotel. The evening is free to relax and enjoy the coastal atmosphere. Overnight stay in Hurghada. -
Day 09 – Hurghada Leisure Day
Today is reserved for relaxation and leisure at the Red Sea resort. Travelers may spend the day enjoying the beaches, swimming, or optional water activities such as snorkeling or diving in the clear waters of the Red Sea, known for its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. The relaxed pace of the day offers a perfect break after several days of historical exploration. Overnight stay in Hurghada. -
Day 10 – Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Hurghada Airport for your onward flight, concluding your unforgettable journey through the timeless wonders of Egypt.
