Tour Plan

  • Day 01 – Srinagar to Kargil
    After pickup from Srinagar, begin a spectacular drive towards Ladakh through the beautiful Sindh Valley. Passing through Sonamarg, known as the Meadow of Gold, the journey gradually ascends towards the iconic Zoji La Pass, the dramatic gateway connecting Kashmir with Ladakh. Continue through Drass, famously known as one of the coldest inhabited places in the world, and visit the Kargil War Memorial honoring soldiers of the 1999 conflict. By evening arrive in Kargil, surrounded by rugged mountains, and check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 02 – Kargil to Leh
    After breakfast, drive towards Leh through ever-changing landscapes of barren mountains and ancient trade routes. Enroute visit Mulbekh Monastery featuring the giant Maitreya Buddha carving, followed by the moon-like terrain of Lamayuru Monastery. Cross high mountain passes including Namkila and Fotu La before reaching Alchi Monastery, famous for its thousand-year-old murals. Continue towards Leh visiting the Indus–Zanskar river confluence, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Hall of Fame Museum. Arrive in Leh by evening for hotel check-in and overnight stay.
  • Day 03 – Leh Local Sightseeing
    Today explore the cultural heart of Ladakh. Visit Thiksey Monastery, beautifully perched on a hilltop overlooking the Indus Valley and home to a magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue. Continue to Shey Palace, once the summer residence of Ladakh’s royal family. Later visit Shanti Stupa offering panoramic views of Leh town and surrounding mountains. Conclude the day at Leh Palace, a historic structure reflecting Tibetan architecture and royal heritage. Evening is free to explore Leh market and local cafés before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.
  • Day 04 – Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
    Drive towards Nubra Valley crossing Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads, offering breathtaking Himalayan views. Descend into Nubra Valley where landscapes transform into sand dunes surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Visit Diskit Monastery featuring the towering Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Continue to Hunder, known for its cold desert terrain and rare double-humped Bactrian camels. Guests may enjoy an optional camel ride before checking into camp or hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
  • Day 05 – Excursion to Turtuk Village
    After breakfast, embark on a scenic excursion to Turtuk, a remote village near the Indo-Pakistan border opened to tourism only recently. Once part of Baltistan, Turtuk offers a unique cultural experience with Balti traditions, stone houses, apricot orchards, and warm local hospitality. Explore the village lanes, interact with locals, and enjoy spectacular views of the Karakoram ranges. After experiencing this culturally distinct region, return to Nubra Valley by evening for overnight stay.
  • Day 06 – Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
    Depart Nubra Valley and travel towards Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok River route. The journey passes remote villages and dramatic mountain formations before revealing the iconic blue waters of Pangong Lake at an altitude of over 14,000 feet. Spend the evening soaking in the tranquil atmosphere as the lake changes colors with shifting sunlight. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at lakeside camps under a star-filled Himalayan sky.
  • Day 07 – Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La
    Wake early to witness sunrise over Pangong Lake, one of the most magical experiences in Ladakh. After breakfast, drive back to Leh crossing Chang La Pass, among the highest mountain passes in the region. Enroute enjoy scenic photo stops and mountain landscapes before reaching Leh by afternoon. Check into the hotel and spend the evening at leisure exploring markets or relaxing after the journey. Overnight stay in Leh.
  • Day 08 – Departure from Leh
    After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey carrying unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s landscapes, monasteries, and unique Himalayan culture.
