Day 1 – Srinagar Arrival & Houseboat Stay | Dal Lake Experience
Arrive in Srinagar at 5,200 ft (1,585 m) and transfer to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. After check-in, enjoy the calm surroundings, gentle lake views, and reflections of the Zabarwan hills. The evening is kept relaxed, allowing you to settle into Kashmir’s rhythm. Dinner is served onboard, followed by an overnight stay on the houseboat. -
Day 2 – Floating Vegetable Market & Srinagar Sightseeing | Culture & Gardens
Begin early with a shikara ride to Srinagar’s famous floating vegetable market, witnessing daily life unfold on the lake. After disembarking from the houseboat, continue local sightseeing to Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Shankaracharya Temple. Time is also reserved for local shopping, with an optional visit to Pari Mahal if time permits. Overnight stay in a Srinagar hotel. -
Day 3 – Gulmarg Day Trip from Srinagar | Gondola & Alpine Meadows
Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg (50 km | ~2 hrs), reaching 8,690 ft (2,650 m). Enjoy Gulmarg’s lush meadows and experience the famous Gondola ride offering panoramic Himalayan views. Depending on the season, explore snow-covered slopes or green alpine landscapes before returning to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in the hotel. -
Day 4 – Srinagar to Sonmarg | Scenic Himalayan Drive
Travel from Srinagar to Sonmarg (80 km | ~3 hrs). Arrive at 9,000 ft (2,743 m), surrounded by snow-capped peaks and flowing mountain rivers. The remainder of the day is kept free for relaxation, short walks, or simply enjoying the fresh alpine air. Overnight stay in Sonmarg. -
Day 5 – Sonmarg & Thajiwas Glacier | Alpine Landscapes
Visit the iconic Thajiwas Glacier, accessible by pony or a gentle walk. Enjoy snowfields, glacial streams, and expansive Himalayan scenery. Day 6 – Naranag & Dumail Walk from Sonmarg | Iconic Picnic Experience
