Day 1: Flight to Chandigarh – Drive to Bandrol
Altitude: 1,560 m / 5,120 ft | Distance: 250 km | Drive: 7–8 hrs Arrive at Chandigarh Airport. Transfer by road to Bandrol, a serene Himachali village near Kullu. Evening at leisure. Overnight: Bandrol -
Day 2: Bandrol – Sonaugi
Distance: 20 km | Drive: 1 hr After breakfast, a short scenic drive brings you to Sonaugi, a peaceful forest hamlet near Naggar. Check into a boutique Kath-Kuni homestead, built in the traditional stone-and-wood style unique to Himachal. Enjoy authentic Himachali cuisine, nature walks, or simply relax in the cedar-scented air. Day 3: Nashala Village Walk & Naggar Exploration
Sonaugi – Nashala: 10 km / 30 mins | Nashala – Naggar: 6 km / 20 mins Morning guided walk through Nashala, a heritage village known for its mud-and-stone houses, temples, and warm locals. Later, visit Naggar Castle and the Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery, soaking in culture, history, and Himalayan artistry. Return to Sonaugi by evening for a cozy bonfire. Overnight: Sonaugi -
Day 4: Jana Village Walk + Atal Tunnel Crossing with Koksar
Sonaugi – Jana: 14 km / 45 mins | Jana – Atal Tunnel: 40 km / 1.5 hrs | Atal Tunnel – Koksar: 9 km / 15 mins Start with a scenic walk through Jana village, surrounded by orchards, wooden homes, and a picturesque waterfall. Later, cross the iconic Atal Tunnel and drive to Koksar, a rugged winter village with dramatic landscapes. If time permits, continue further to Sissu, famous for its frozen waterfall. Day 5: Sonaugi – Chandigarh – Departure
Distance: 270 km | Drive: 7–8 hrs After breakfast, transfer back to Chandigarh for your onward flight.
