Embark on an epic road trip through Himachal’s most secluded and spellbinding regions. Starting from the lively hill town of Manali, the route takes you through the Atal Tunnel into scenic Lahaul, onward to the tucked-away tribal village of Sural Bhatori in Pangi, and across the legendary Sach Pass (4,420 m) into lush Chamba.
Along the way, chase waterfalls, wander through wildflower-strewn meadows, explore ancient temples, and soak in mountain culture where Buddhist chants echo through hidden valleys.
Step into the storybook world of Pangi, where every bend reveals a new adventure. Expect rugged roads, big skies, warm chai, and memories you’ll brag about for years.

Day 01: Chandigarh – Manali (Approx. 310 km / 8–9 hours)
Arrive at Chandigarh Airport and drive to the popular hill town of Manali via Mandi and Kullu. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Evening at leisure.

Day 02: Manali – Acclimatization & Local Explorations
After breakfast, go for a short guided hike from Bhanara to Jagatsukh, a scenic trail that helps you acclimatize and offers glimpses into Himachali village life.
In the afternoon, visit Naggar Castle and drive higher up to explore the traditional Rumsu Village. Return to Manali by evening.

Day 03: Manali – Udaipur (Lahaul Valley) (Approx. 150 km / 5–6 hours)
Drive past Solang Valley and through the Atal Tunnel into the starkly beautiful Lahaul Valley. Visit Tandi, where the Chandra and Bhaga rivers meet to form the Chenab. Take a detour to visit the tranquil Khardong Monastery.
Continue through the lush valleys of Lahaul with a stop at the Trilokinath Temple, a revered site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Arrive at Udaipur by late afternoon.
Overnight: Guest house in Udaipur.
Day 04: Udaipur – Purthi – Killar – Sural Bhatori (Approx. 130 km / 6–7 hours)
A stunning drive along the Chenab River, often deep in gorges. Reach Killar, the headquarters of Pangi Valley. Take a short break to explore its charming old bazaar and have lunch.
Later, continue driving to the hidden and beautiful Sural Valley, surrounded by high mountains and meadows.
Overnight: Swiss cottage tents in Sural.
Day 05: Sural Bhatori – Day Hike & Exploration
Spend the day exploring Sural Valley on foot. Visit the peaceful Tashi Choeling Monastery, wander through the expansive Goth meadows, and hike up to the beautiful Chabi Waterfall.
Enjoy a packed lunch amidst nature before returning to camp.

Day 06: Sural – Sach Pass – Devi Kothi – Tissa (Approx. 160 km / 8–9 hours)
After an early breakfast, drive through rugged and thrilling terrain to reach Sach Pass (4,420 m) – a dramatic high-altitude crossing with breathtaking views.
As you descend into Chamba Valley, you’ll pass through the flower-filled Satrundi area (best from late June to mid-September). Stop at Bairagarh for a short break.
Continue further to Devi Kothi, a hidden village known for its ancient Shakti Devi Temple with exquisite wood carvings. Drive a little ahead to reach your guest house at Tissa.

Day 07: Tissa – Chamba (Approx. 80 km / 4 hours)
A scenic drive brings you to Chamba Town, where you explore its old temples including Chamunda Devi and the Laxmi Narayan Temple complex.
Check in at a boutique riverside.
Overnight stay at Chamba.
Day 08: Chamba – Amritsar (via Pathankot) (Approx. 250 km / 6–7 hours)
Leave after an early breakfast and drive to Amritsar. If time permits, enjoy a quick visit to the Golden Temple before your drop at Amritsar Airport for your flight home.
