Tour Plan

  • Day 01 – Arrival in Khajuraho
    Arrival at Khajuraho Airport followed by transfer to the hotel. After check-in, begin exploring the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Khajuraho Group of Monuments, renowned for their intricate temple architecture and detailed sculptures reflecting medieval Indian art and philosophy. Visit the Western Group of Temples including Kandariya Mahadev and Lakshmana Temple. Evening free to explore local markets or attend the Sound & Light Show narrating the region’s history. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
  • Day 02 – Khajuraho to Bandhavgarh
    After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park (approx. 5–6 hours), passing through rural Bundelkhand landscapes and forested terrain. On arrival, check in to a wildlife lodge or jungle resort. Spend the evening at leisure with a nature walk or resort-based wildlife orientation session introducing the ecosystem of the park. Overnight stay near Bandhavgarh National Park.
  • Day 03 – Bandhavgarh Safari Experience
    Early morning jeep safari inside Bandhavgarh National Park, famous for one of the highest tiger sighting probabilities in India. Explore sal forests, grasslands, and ancient ruins scattered across the reserve while tracking wildlife such as deer, langurs, leopards, and diverse birdlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. Afternoon jeep safari explores a different zone of the park offering varied terrain and wildlife encounters. Overnight stay in Bandhavgarh.
  • Day 04 – Bandhavgarh to Kanha National Park
    After breakfast, drive to Kanha National Park (approx. 6–7 hours), one of India’s largest and most scenic tiger reserves and the inspiration behind Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book. Arrive and check in to a forest lodge surrounded by buffer-zone greenery. Evening at leisure enjoying the tranquil jungle setting. Overnight stay near Kanha National Park.
  • Day 05 – Kanha National Park Safaris
    Begin the day with an early morning safari through Kanha’s expansive meadows and dense forests, known for barasingha (swamp deer) conservation success along with tiger sightings. Return for breakfast and relaxation. Afternoon safari explores another core zone showcasing diverse habitats, birdlife, and occasional predator sightings. Evening free for nature talks or relaxation at the lodge. Overnight stay in Kanha.
  • Day 06 – Kanha Exploration & Leisure
    Optional additional morning safari or guided nature activity within buffer areas including village walks or interpretation trails highlighting conservation efforts and tribal culture surrounding the park. Afternoon at leisure enjoying lodge facilities and forest ambience, allowing rest between travel segments. Overnight stay in Kanha.
  • Day 07 – Kanha to Jabalpur
    After breakfast, drive to Jabalpur (approx. 4–5 hours). On arrival, check in to the hotel and later visit the Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat where the Narmada River flows through towering white marble cliffs. Experience a boat ride (seasonal) or visit Dhuandhar Falls, known for its powerful cascading waters and mist-filled viewpoints. Overnight stay in Jabalpur.
  • Day 08 – Departure from Jabalpur
    After breakfast, transfer to Jabalpur Airport or Railway Station for onward journey, concluding the Grand Madhya Pradesh wildlife and heritage expedition.
