Day 01 – Arrival in Indore
Arrival at Indore Airport or Railway Station followed by transfer to the hotel. After check-in, begin exploring Indore’s heritage and cultural landmarks including Rajwada Palace and Lal Bagh Palace reflecting the grandeur of the Holkar dynasty. Spend time walking through local markets and cafés showcasing the city’s evolving cultural scene. In the evening, visit Sarafa Bazaar, famous for its lively night food market offering an authentic taste of Malwa cuisine. Overnight stay in Indore. -
Day 02 – Indore to Mandu
After breakfast, drive to Mandu (approx. 2.5–3 hours), a historic hilltop city surrounded by scenic Malwa landscapes and monsoon-fed valleys. Upon arrival, check in to a heritage property and begin exploring Mandu’s iconic Afghan-era architecture including Jahaz Mahal, Hindola Mahal, and the Royal Enclave complex. Continue to Baz Bahadur Palace and Rupmati Pavilion, associated with the legendary love story of Baz Bahadur and Rani Rupmati. Enjoy panoramic sunset views overlooking the Nimar plains before returning to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mandu. -
Day 03 – Mandu – Maheshwar (Enroute Heritage Drive)
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Mandu before driving towards Maheshwar (approx. 2–3 hours), descending from the Malwa plateau into the sacred Narmada valley. On arrival, check in to a heritage stay near the riverfront. Later, explore Ahilya Fort and palace complex, admire intricately carved temples, and walk along the serene Maheshwar ghats where life unfolds around the sacred river. Visit local weaving centres known for traditional Maheshwari sarees that preserve centuries-old craftsmanship. Overnight stay in Maheshwar. -
Day 04 – Maheshwar Exploration
After breakfast, continue exploring Maheshwar at a slow and immersive pace. Spend time discovering temple architecture, quiet riverfront corners, and artisan workshops.
