Day 01 – Arrival in Ahmedabad – Transfer to Velavadar
Arrive in Ahmedabad and proceed by road toward Velavadar, home to the renowned Blackbuck National Park known for its vast grasslands and thriving antelope population. Upon arrival, check in to the resort and relax amidst peaceful natural surroundings. Depending on arrival time, guests may opt for an evening safari (subject to permits) to witness blackbucks, wolves, and grassland birdlife. Overnight stay in Velavadar. -
Day 02 – Velavadar – Little Rann of Kutch
After breakfast, drive toward the Little Rann of Kutch, a unique semi-arid salt marsh ecosystem famous for the Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. On arrival, check in to an eco-resort or desert lodge surrounded by expansive landscapes. The region is also a paradise for birdwatchers with numerous migratory species. Evening at leisure enjoying the desert atmosphere. Overnight stay in Little Rann of Kutch. -
Day 03 – Little Rann of Kutch Safaris
Begin the day with an early morning jeep safari into the Wild Ass Sanctuary, where sightings may include Indian Wild Ass, desert fox, nilgai, and diverse birdlife across the salt flats. Return to the resort for breakfast and relaxation. Later, embark on an evening safari exploring different zones of the Rann, witnessing dramatic desert scenery and a memorable sunset over the salt plains. Overnight stay in Little Rann of Kutch. -
Day 04 – Little Rann of Kutch – Bhuj – Dhordo (Rann Utsav Tent City)
After breakfast, proceed toward Bhuj and onward to Dhordo, gateway to the iconic White Rann. Transfer to the Rann Utsav Tent City as per scheduled shared transfers from Bhuj. Upon arrival, enjoy traditional welcome and check-in followed by lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring craft markets, art galleries, cultural spaces, and recreational zones within Tent City. In the evening, visit the White Rann sunset point to witness the vast salt desert glowing under changing colors of the sky. Dinner followed by cultural performances and folk entertainment. Day 05 – Rann Utsav Experience – Kala Dungar Excursion
Start the day with morning tea and optional yoga session or sunrise visit to the White Rann, where early light transforms the salt desert into a surreal landscape. After breakfast, enjoy leisure activities within Tent City including craft demonstrations, cultural exhibits, and recreational experiences. Post lunch, proceed for a complimentary excursion to Kala Dungar (Black Hill), the highest point in Kutch, offering panoramic views of the Rann. En route, visit Gandhi Nu Gaam, known for traditional handicrafts. Return for dinner followed by evening cultural performances. Overnight stay at Tent City. -
Day 06 – Rann Utsav Leisure & Cultural Immersion
Enjoy a relaxed morning with yoga or sunrise viewing followed by breakfast. The day allows time to explore Tent City attractions such as artisan markets, selfie points, wellness zones, and local cultural demonstrations showcasing Kutchi heritage. Day 07 – Departure from Bhuj
After breakfast, check out from Tent City with transfers arranged toward Bhuj Airport or Railway Station. En route, enjoy complimentary sightseeing at the Smritivan Earthquake Museum (approx. 2 hours), offering insight into Gujarat’s resilience and history. Continue onward for departure, concluding an unforgettable journey through Gujarat’s wildlife landscapes and the magical White Desert.
