Day 01 – Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Dambulla
Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Dambulla in Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The drive offers scenic countryside views and a relaxed introduction to the island. Optional enroute visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage can be arranged based on arrival time. On reaching Dambulla, check in to your hotel and relax. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Dambulla. -
Day 02 – Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Dambulla Cave Temple
After breakfast, proceed to explore the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic rock summit, ancient frescoes, landscaped gardens, and panoramic views. Later, visit the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its impressive collection of Buddha statues and vibrant mural paintings inside natural rock caves. The day offers a deep insight into Sri Lanka’s ancient kingdom era and Buddhist heritage. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Dambulla. -
Day 03 – Trincomalee Day Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Trincomalee on Sri Lanka’s east coast. Visit the sacred Koneswaram Temple perched dramatically on Swami Rock overlooking the Indian Ocean. Explore Fort Frederick and enjoy time at Nilaveli Beach, known for its turquoise waters and soft sands. Depending on the season, optional boat trips to Pigeon Island for snorkeling can be arranged. Day 04 – Dambulla to Kandy
Following breakfast, depart for Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. Enroute, visit a spice plantation to learn about the island’s renowned spices and traditional Ayurvedic uses. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, one of Buddhism’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Later explore the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Day 05 – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, proceed towards Nuwara Eliya via scenic mountain roads lined with tea plantations and waterfalls. Enroute, visit a tea factory to witness the production process of authentic Ceylon tea and enjoy a tasting session. Stop at Ramboda Falls before continuing to the hill station. Known as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya is famous for its colonial charm, cool climate, and lush greenery. Evening at leisure exploring Gregory Lake or the town centre. Day 06 – Nuwara Eliya Exploration
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure in the highlands. Optional visits include Horton Plains National Park and the famous World’s End viewpoint, Hakgala Botanical Gardens, or a scenic train ride through the tea estates subject to availability.
