Tour Plan

  • Day 1 – Himalayan Ascent to Narkanda | Pine Forests & Orchards
    Drive from Chandigarh to Narkanda (175 km | 5–6 hrs), reaching 8,900 ft (2,713 m). Ascend through pine forests and apple orchards, marking a gentle Himalayan entry. Evening at leisure for acclimatisation and short walks. Overnight stay in Narkanda.
  • Day 2 – Narkanda to Sangla | Baspa Valley Transition
    Travel to Sangla (160 km | 7–8 hrs), following the Sutlej River before entering the Baspa Valley. Arrive at 8,900 ft (2,720 m) and enjoy a calm evening walk along the river banks amid wooden village homes. Overnight stay in Sangla.
  • Day 3 – Sangla to Tabo via Nako & Gue | Entering Spiti
    Drive Sangla to Tabo (200 km | 8 hrs). Stop at Nako Lake, visit Gue village’s naturally preserved mummy, and witness the dramatic landscape shift into Spiti. Reach Tabo at 10,760 ft (3,280 m). Overnight stay.
  • Day 4 – Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar | Monasteries & Cliff Views
    Explore the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery, then continue to Dhankar Monastery perched high above the valley. Optional short hike to Dhankar Lake. Proceed to Kaza (50 km | 3 hrs). Overnight stay in Kaza.
  • Day 5 – Kaza High Villages | Key, Kibber & Chicham
    Explore Key Monastery, Kibber village, and cross the Chicham Bridge—Asia’s highest. Experience life in Spiti’s high-altitude settlements and vast valley views. Return to Kaza for overnight stay.
  • Day 6 – Kaza to Langza & Hikkim | Fossils & High Hamlets
    Visit Hikkim (world’s highest post office), Komic, and Langza beneath Chau Chau Kang Nilda peak (14,500 ft / 4,420 m). Fossil-rich terrain and village walks define the day. Overnight stay in Langza homestay.
  • Day 7 – Langza to Kalpa | Return to Green Himalayas
    Drive back toward Kinnaur (210 km | 8 hrs), retracing the Spiti–Sutlej corridor. Arrive in Kalpa at 9,710 ft (2,960 m)with views of Kinner Kailash. Overnight stay.
  • Day 8 – Kalpa to Shimla | End of Spiti Journey
    Drive Kalpa to Shimla (220 km | 8 hrs), concluding a slow, immersive Spiti introduction.
