Tour Plan

  • Day 1 – Arrival in Dharamshala & McLeod Ganj | Tibetan Culture
    Arrive in Dharamshala (McLeod Ganj ~6,830 ft / 2,080 m). After check-in, visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex and stroll the Tibetan Market. Enjoy café time and mountain views as the evening unfolds gently. Dinner and overnight stay in Dharamshala.
  • Day 2 – Dharamshala Region | Arts, Heritage & Views
    Explore the wider region with a visit to the Norbulingka Institute (Tibetan arts conservatory) and the Losel Doll Museum. If time permits, add the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium for views against the Dhauladhars. The day balances culture with relaxed exploration. Return for an overnight stay in Dharamshala.
  • Day 3 – Dharamshala to Palampur | Tea Country Drive
    Drive to Palampur (35 km | ~1.5 hrs), set at 4,300 ft (1,310 m). Check in and explore tea gardens and viewpoints overlooking the Kangra Valley. Optional visit to a nearby monastery adds quiet reflection. Evening at leisure amid rolling estates. Overnight stay in Palampur.
  • Day 4 – Palampur & Baijnath | Temples & Estates
    Spend the morning among tea estates and local lanes. Later, visit Baijnath to see the ancient Baijnath Temple, known for its stone architecture and riverside setting. Return to Palampur by evening for a relaxed overnight stay.
  • Day 5 – Palampur to Bir | Village Hike & Waterfall
    Travel to Bir (30 km | ~1.5 hrs), arriving at 5,000 ft (1,524 m). Drive onward to Gunerh to begin a guided hike to a nearby waterfall through forest trails and village paths. Return to Bir by afternoon. Evening free. Overnight stay in Bir.
  • Day 6 – Bir Paragliding & Leisure | Fly with the Dhauladhars
