Day 1 – Srinagar Arrival & Houseboat Stay | Dal Lake Experience
Arrive in Srinagar at 5,200 ft (1,585 m) and transfer to a traditional houseboat on Dal Lake. Settle into calm waters and enjoy evening views framed by the Zabarwan hills. This relaxed start allows you to unwind after arrival and absorb Kashmir’s unique lake lifestyle. Dinner is served onboard, followed by an overnight stay on the houseboat. -
Day 2 – Srinagar to Gurez Valley via Razdan Pass | Remote Kashmir Drive
Drive from Srinagar to Gurez (123 km | 6–7 hrs). Cross Razdan Pass at 11,700 ft (3,566 m), stopping at Peer Baba Dargah and scenic viewpoints overlooking the Kishanganga River. As the terrain becomes increasingly remote, arrive in Gurez surrounded by rugged mountains and pristine landscapes. Overnight stay in Gurez. -
Day 3 – Gurez Sightseeing | Angaikot, Sheikhpura & Kishanganga River
Explore Gurez Valley at 8,000 ft (2,438 m), one of Kashmir’s most untouched regions. Visit the traditional villages of Angaikot and Sheikhpura, enjoy gentle walks along the Kishanganga River, and admire distant views of Nanga Parbat. Day 4 – Gurez to Sonmarg | High-Altitude Himalayan Transition
Depart Gurez for Sonmarg (170 km | 7–8 hrs). This long yet scenic drive transitions from secluded valleys to open alpine landscapes. Arrive in Sonmarg at 9,000 ft (2,743 m), known for its sweeping meadows, glaciers, and river-fed valleys. Evening at leisure to relax and acclimatise. Overnight stay in Sonmarg. -
Day 5 – Sonmarg & Thajiwas Glacier | Alpine Kashmir Landscapes
